We, like you, have closely been monitoring and learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. As your dealer For the People, Bergstrom Cars wants to assure you that your health and safety, and the health and safety of our team members is of utmost importance to us.

We will continue to monitor the Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization's (WHO) guidance for responding to coronavirus.

Here's a quick update with the steps we're taking to protect our guests, team members, and our community:

  • Employees are instructed to stay home if they are experiencing respiratory, fever or flu-like symptoms.
  • Employees have been instructed on how to properly use cleaning and disinfecting supplies to routinely clean their individual work areas, as well as customer waiting areas and items like door knobs, tables, seats, and counters according to CDC guidelines.
  • All employees are required to wash their hands regularly throughout the day.
  • We've removed all large in-person gatherings for our staff.
  • We are utilizing gloves and bags to minimize contact with keys.
  • We are sanitizing high touch point areas in customer vehicles when vehicles arrive and before the vehicle goes back to the customer, as well as any vehicle that goes on a test drive.
  • We are practicing Social Distancing Guidelines: no handshakes, high fives, or hugs, high trafficked areas are taped off, we're keeping our distance from guests and each other, and we're utilizing unassisted test drives and alternative deliveries.
  • Guests can pick up parts curbside for free.
  • We are utilizing technology instead of handling paperwork whenever we can.
  • We have removed refreshments from customer waiting areas.
  • Dealerships are emphasizing our FREE delivery and pick up of vehicles for Service, Oil Change, Body Shop, or Detail appointments in the Devils Lake area.
  • Our team will bring a vehicle to your doorstep to demo and deliver it after purchase.
  • We've taken several steps to assure that you can shop and get your vehicle serviced from anywhere! Our websites allow you to view inventory, value your trade, shop by payment, and apply for financing.
